Fact 3: Was a store clerk at several stores.. More About Dorthy Ellen Wilson and William Stephen Dean: Marriage: September 11, 1935, Muskegon, Muskegon CO. MI. Memories I met a friend the other day; A friend who had been long away. We talked of many, many things; Of schoolroom days and friendship rings. Of pigtailed girls and freckled boys, Of picnic day and long lost toys. And in that little space of time, We lived again the joyful days; Our graying hair turned into gold, Our aging shoulders lost their load; And once again we were so young, Back where the seed of friendship sprung. The Change I went to wander in the sand; My little sister held my hand; We watched the waves break on the beach, then back they went, way out of reach. We climbed the dunes and tumbled down And, yet, we hardly made a sound. The sun so warm, the sky so blue, A passing boat came into view. It was so old but yet so new, And I could hardly think it true. A month has passed since last we played on shifting sand and water blue and picnicked in the forest green And picked wild flowers near a stream. My little sister, with years to grow, May play along the lake so blue But I shall shortly be a man No more play on shifting sand.
