Birth*4 April 1859 She was born on 4 April 1859 at Kentucky
Marriage* She married Jesse C Sergent, son of Abraham Sergeant and Joanna Jane Thomas
Marriage* Celia McKnight married George W Brown
Note* Celia McKnight As a fact, Jessie Sergeant was the man that married Celia McKnight who was dad's sister and our aunt. They lived in a log cabin close to Grand Mother McKnight's and it was in sight of their place, and was still there when I left Kentucky which was in 1909. Aunt Celia and Uncle Jessie had one boy, named Joe Sergeant. Aunt Celia took Joe and crossed the Black Mountain, which wasn't more than 15 miles, and it was in Virginia. She married a man over there in Virginia by the name of George Brown, who was working in the coal mines. He adopted young Joe as his and they put him through school. Then after Geo. Brown died and young Joe was through school, Aunt Celia moved back over in Kentucky and lived with her two brothers, Steve and Joe and Joe's wife and had a family (I mean Joe and his wife) and Uncle Steve never got married, and they all lived together till they all died.
